I grew up in Los Angeles, California, where my passion for writing and storytelling began. I am currently a senior, double majoring in Journalism & Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I enjoy communicating stories that would normally go unheard or unrepresented. I am passionate about creativity and driven by helping others in my community.

My experience in journalistic writing started when I began writing for my high school newspaper. I soon became the Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper which sparked my desire to pursue Journalism in college and as a career.
In college, I continued to expand my writing skills by joining the school newspaper The Daily Cardinal. After three years of writing, I became the college news editor.
I also have a strong interest in politics and political communications. Understanding how people govern and communicate the complexity of government to everyday citizens has always fascinated me.
My work at Wispolitics.com and Wisbuisness.com has helped improve my journalistic and political communication skills.
I still have a lot to learn but I am very excited to see what the future holds!
